Wise Old Thumper
Coltsfoot is having one of his 'regular' dentals - though with only about 8 teeth left one presumes that this will eventually become a less frequent . . poor little mite. Every time he goes in he looses more teeth - it was 4 last time. Not sure about todays tally until they call.
Parsley Piert Parsels (son of the famous Parsley - or Lord Parsley of Parsels) - has unfortunately followed in his father's pawprints by starting to play around with pus . . . his father loved pus - he never lost an opportunity to cultivate some somewhere - ears being his favourite sadly.
However PPP (as he is known for short) has managed to steer clear until now - but he was caught 'looking thoughtful' the other day - and was whisked off to the vet where they discovered pus coming from his lower incisor roots - and a lump below that. They suspect a seed or something must have got into the jaw or teeth as otherwise he has immaculate teeth - (as do all his siblings who were -accidentally - born and raised here on all our forage!!)
The vet receptionist said she had never had to write 'looking thoughtful' as the reason for the consultation booking before:lol::lol:
Just hope they both are fine - hate it when have buns in vets. I worry constantly and cant work . . . we lost little tiddly Crab Apple earlier this week (not during an op), and a bantam and quail as well (all different causes) so not a good week for us -
The bill will be very ouchy as well . . . .
