I wish the specialist vet wasn't so far away there's no point taking her to my usual vet, they've examined her loads of times and never find anything wrong. But she isn't right she has barely been eating pellets or greens for a couple of weeks now, although some days she has almost a normal amount, then the next day hardly any :? She is a large New Zealand rabbit, she is overweight (even with not eating much, which makes me worry that there's something sinister growing inside her). She still eats grass and hay, although not as much as she used to. She spends a lot of time resting/sleeping, although does still have bursts of energy when she runs around and looks happy. She likes eating dried brambles and other forage. Drinking less. Poos half the size they used to be, darker and drier. She often looks like she's struggling to pass droppings and urine, she has been like that for a long time. She has a history of unexplained stomach pain episodes, presenting like gas - normally passes after a couple of hours. And the last few days, she's been constantly lifting her front paw slightly before putting it back down. I have looked at it and can't see anything. She did this once before and had a sore toe, but her toes look fine now. She is already on daily metacam for suspected arthritis. Any thoughts on any of this very welcome.
