Settling newly bonded house rabbits

It's a few weeks now till Molly is due to be bonded with Barnaby but I am already worrying about bringing them home. I know that everything needs descenting which is easy enough to do in a hutch or shed but how do you descent carpet for example! I can replace the litter tray, toys, bowls etc but I can't replace the soft furnishings.

Also, the room is 120 sq foot. Is this too much space to go straight into? Will they need to be in a pen for a little while first and for how long?

I really, really want this bond to work.

I hired a Rug Doctor carpet cleaner :wave: and yes, definitely start them off in a pen, and only increase the space gradually, if there are no problems :wave:
