Oh what a morning

Fellie

Warren Veteran
I seriously thought I would end up with 4 buns with stasis this morning. I came to feed at about 6.45am - and notice Sheldon was looking quite stroppy and just thought it was because I was late - but he and his wife Holly tucked into their breakfast no problem - I turned round and noticed that Cheyenne's door to her hutch was open - and Bobo, his wife Harley, and Bug (a single bun) and Cheyenne were all VERY stressed and thumping and not interested in brekkies at all.

Cheyenne had obviously been visiting buns and managed to get them all totally worked up - and terrified herself in the process. She was so scared poor little thing.

I couldn't get Bobo to stop thumping - and as soon as I did - Holly thumped which set him off again - this continued to upset Bug and Cheyenne.

I managed to get hubby out of the shower and took Cheyenne through to our bedroom to get her out of the situation and then we concentrated on calming the rest of the buns down. Holly was thumping because she had finished her pellets and now wanted hay! So once she was happy, Bobo gradually calmed down - as did Harley and Bug. So managed to get them eating brekkies.

And then had to concenrate on Cheyenne who I just held and cuddled for ages and she eventually calmed down enough to eat her breakfast.

But I honestly thought that I would be trying to get 4 buns to the vets for a while there.

We checked back on the web cam - and my little monkey Cheyenne seems to have escaped at about mid-night and spent a happy time winding up all the buns all night . I think my fur-babies are going to be very sleepy all day to day - and luckily I can work from home and keep an eye on them all:thumb:

Off to B&Q to look for bunny security solutions later to day:thumb:

I love my buns - but they are doing a fine job of making me wish I had human children

:lol::lol: I'm sorry - I probably shouldn't laugh but what a little monkey ;). I bet she had a brilliant time annoying everyone . Glad they're all settling down again now though and that it didn't result in a trip to the vet.

Hahaha this is hilarious. Not the worry of course just the fact you had a real little tinker in the gang. Bunnies! Yeesh!

She is a little tinker - I love her so much I really do. She is SUCH a cuddle bun but so very naughty too

Goodness! What a start to the day! Not sure if human children are any better though. My son woke me early this morning to confess guiltily that he had accidentally let Molly out of her room and that she was in the study! The study is literally full of wires and most definitely out of bounds. I ran downstairs at full pelt and rescued Molly before any damage was done. I was really cross with him but in his defence that's the first time in the 4 years we have had Molly that he's done it.

Ooooo...panic!!!! So glad she hadn't got to the wires - it's just so easy how accidents happen isn't it?

What a nightmare, glad it was all sorted in the end without vets though. Its good you have that webcam and were able to find out what happened. Fancy Cheyenne winding everybun up like that and herself in the process, little monkey  Hope all is calm for the rest of the day and that your cuddly minx behaves :thumb:

Goodness, what a stressful morning! Spenser can thump for Scotland when annoyed by us (this is easily done) - I dread to think what he would be like if he had to socialise with other bunnies.

Any photos of your little madam?
