Wild baby rabbit

Right then I've found a small (hand sized) young/baby rabbit in my engine bay after originally spotting it in my garden..

I think it was in my engine for a few days as I spotted it in different locations where I was parked.

I finally got him out of the engine bay and into a carry basket where we cleaned him up and fed him some grass.. He's not injured in any way and is wonderfully clean..

Only issue is I have no idea where he has come from as there are no areas for wild rabbits around here!

I do know of a few locations around 20mile away which have some wild rabbits where I could set him loose but how will he cope being intergrated into a new environment?

What would people do?

I'd see if there is a local wildlife hospital nearby which would take him or at least ask for their advice regarding venues.
