Thought I'd share some good news.
Did a little "research" this Easter to see if the "Chocolate bunnies NOT live bunnies" campaign of recent years has been effective.
I did not see a single rabbit for sale in a pet shop! Nada!
The two weeks preceeding Easter only saw one add on the online local classifieds for baby rabbits.
About 5 weeks prior saw a few ads on the local classified, but also know that breeder does rescue buns, and says straight out that she will not sell to just anyone and all her buns come with hay, feed and care instructions and to bring them back to her if there is any issue at any time.
So, at least in this part of the States, the campaign is definitely having an impact.
