Captain Helen
Wise Old Thumper
I've been contacted by someone who has found what we think is a wildie cross and doesn't know what to do. The bun was found in their garden, there are no other rabbits to be seen and they're at least half a mile away from anywhere a wildie could be living. They asked around the neighbours and some think they've spotted a domestic bun loose in the area.
I don't have space anyway, but I have no experience of wildies or wildie crosses. The bun seems quite young and I think he needs to go somewhere with experience. Does anyone know what I should advise? Any rescues that specialise in wildies?
He's eating and drinking fine, and seems to be in good health. (I don't know the sex, it's just easier to say he!) The guy who found him has guinea pigs but no rabbit experience.
Here's a photo...
