  • Please Note - Medical Advice

    Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

    You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

    We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.

    Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Brush recommendations?

Summer&Skye

What's the best kind of brush to get to help the moult? All short haired rabbits, but not keen on being messed with!!

Damp hands.

Where do I get them and how much r they?? ;) :lol: Will give that a try thanks :thumb: Tbh I've never really brushed them but since I've experienced stasis with Skye I'm paranoid now and want to do as much as I can to prevent anything like that. Summer seems to be moulting the worst right now.

Zoom Groom, they look totally useless but they seem to loosen fur really well and it just falls out of them. They also love it and 2 of my 4 ended up settling down for a tooth purr whilst I was brushing them!

:love::love::love:

I need to get a new one as I used it on the dog yesterday and don't want to use it on the bunnies again now :oops: worked well on the dog too, the living room rug changed from a teal colour to a sort of tan Lilley Dog colour :shock: it took a lot of hoovering to get it back!!!

I have the dog one but there is a cat one too which I assume is smaller.
