Outdoor digging planter

I've purchased a planter so the girls can dig, they are long haired so do I use normal earth or something else like sand or sawdust?
 
I would use earth. I wouldn't use sand as it can get into the eyes, and sawdust isn't recommended around rabbits anyway.
 
Earth/soil because it's natural. They'll have a good dig, get filthy and then sit and wash themselves for hours like mine do ... "oh! :shock: how did my paws get so dirty??!" :lol:
