Photos of your puppies/dogs

Good evening :wave:

OH and I are desperate to get a puppy, thinking about a cockerpoo or a labradoodle, does anyone have any of these or know much about them?

Anyway I would love to see photo of your dogs, especially if they are with the buns x

Ooh exciting :love::love::love:

We are looking at getting a dog too, found a stunning young boy in a local rescue and although his foster mummy seems to be debating becoming a failed foster mummy :lol: we are going to meet him this weekend... Hopefully before too long I will be able to post pictures of *my* dog :love:

I have a 3 year old springer spaniel cross with a shar pei (mostly springer but with a big head :lol: ) called Ruby.
She was *sort of* a rescue, family friends aunties dog had puppies and the rest of the litter were a sandy colour and sold for £150 but because ruby is black and white nobody wanted her :cry: the friend then asked us if we wanted her (for nothing) when she was 16 weeks old, and my mum (after a lot lf tears from me :lol: ) gave her a one day trial to see if she got along with our cat, Sadie....

She was terrified when she came home, covered in her own wee from where she had been kept in a front yard and had been tormented by the local children :cry: but despite that, she is the BEST friend you could wish for :thumb: :love:

Ruby with Joey :love: ( sorry it's blurry)

What I would say about those crosses is you never know what you'll get. If you are looking for something specific I always recommend getting a full breed over a cross as its easier to know what you're getting. You must like Poodles to like those crosses, have you considered a Poodle? :wave:

If you do go ahead with a cross breed, you'd be best going on the appropriate forum to find a 'good' breeder. Some will say there's no good breeders of these crosses (the majority are out to make money by giving a dog a silly name). There are a few, and I mean a small few, who are in it because they love the breed and will have all the appropriate health tests done on each parent to ensure they are doing their best in bringing puppies into the world. These are vitally important. You may be able to find such breeders on those forums.

Would you be willing to rescue? Probably won't find those crosses are pups in rescue, but you may find others. Adult 'poo' crosses sometimes come up in rescue if you're set on them. I'm happy to suggest them, I just really don't like supporting the breeding of these dogs, as most are just into it to line their pockets.

This is my latest addition Holly, she is 10 weeks old. She is a chihuahua x Jack Russell and is absolutely tiny :love:
