parsnipbun
Wise Old Thumper
After a lifetime of being in a single set 'hunched' position due to pain issues (teeth and skin and joints) and being cold all the time (due to lack of fur and always wet skin) . . . Coltsfoot is finally beginning to unwind and enjoy the delights of warmth and a less painful skin and mouth . . .
These images are of him under the 'tortoise' lamp which gives out a low heat, and on top of a fleece (thanks Tracy) and snugglesafe AND electric heated vet bed AND how water bottle.:shock:
He adored it and couldnt decide which new ways to stretch out . . . it was like watching a bun try out yoga positions:lol::lol:
I LOVE the 2nd one down with his leg jammed against the cupboard next to him and his head all upside down!
We have had him about 7 months now and he is still amazing us with the ways he is changing as we get to know his needs.
This was a new highpoint for him . . . though sadly its back to the vets on Monday to deal with a horizontally growing peg tooth
(apologies for the pinkness - it does not look like that in real life - but the tortoise lamp is of course a red light which shows in photos)
