Monty Bunn
New Kit
Hi there,
Monty's an elder bun these days. He's lived with us for over 7 years now.
He's a dwarf lop, rescued from an RSPCA shelter, way back in January 2007 (approx. 1 1/2 yrs old then) so now he's at least 8+ years old.
He suffered a nasty case of head tilt back in 2007, 6 months after we had him, but thanks to the information on this site and a speedy trip to the vets he made a 100% recovery!
He's a fully litter tray trained, free running house bun. He has full run of 3 floors, including 4 sets of 6 stairs, which he loves going up and down.
He's never caged, always free running and usually found in different parts of the house at different times of the day. He likes to spend the night under the bed and will even go down the 3 floors to his toilet tray, and then come back up again to spend the rest of the night!
His life long companion is a very life like plush bun. This has now seen better days, and a little worn, as it has been very loved by him
He loves playing football with his inflatable beach balls, he even has one on each floor! He pushes them around endlessly, sometimes they all end up on the ground floor!
Since Christmas he has slowed up a lot and hasn't wanted to travel quite so far.
We're making life as easy and as comfortable for him as we can. He deserves it all, as an elder bun.
