HELP need rabbit savvy vet in Peterborough

Could anyone help, its for Rainbow.

Has she seen my post about the one in Thurlby? (I'm like fifteen mins away from Peterborough, it's about 30mins away from Rainbow) I know it's not Peterborough but I can only think of two actual exotic specialists in the general area, one is my vet and the other is the one Twigs (parsnipbun) uses up near Cambridge way (could be more but I can't think of any!).

There are vets in Peterborough, such as Broadway, Companion Care, Vets4Pets, Pengelly & Mizzen, The Byre, Youngs, Hampton vets and Oundle vets, but I wouldn't be able to say if any of these are particularly savvy as I've never set foot in any of them!

However I know Trixielover is also close to Pboro so I shall ask her if she uses one in Peterborough

I don't think so, but will pass it on. I know Rainbow doesn't drive, so it maybe more difficult getting near Cambridge way.

Ah I've just edited my post as you posted this, with a list of vets in Pboro! I don't know if any are savvy though as I have never used them.

Oh, I hadn't realised she didn't drive. Yeah, it may be a bit more difficult getting to Thurlby/Cambridge in that case.

Alternatively, could Rainbow's current vets have a consult with Sarah (my vet) or Twigs' vet over the phone if they want second opinion or just could do with general advice? :wave:

Have replied on the facebook again but no way to contact her direct - if she can get an appt at a time I can take her - and can pay for petrol I can drive her (depending on exactly how far she is from peterborough of course)

She does not have to travel that far ! Nuvet in Bretton peterborough have several rabbit savvy vets and nurses . They have a fbook page but can call them on 01733 333444 cannot reccomend them highly enough . They know my 2 very well ?:roll:

Are they exotics qualified referral vets? Do you know if they do accupuncture?

I will check out the bretton vets. I am not sure gypsy could travel far now I have a very bad feeling

Do you need a lift ? As I take it from the thread you don't drive ? Am in the mornings as don't start work until 11.45 and husband working from home mostly this week so will have a car.
