Giant lops?

Bunnie

Warren Scout
When would a giant lop start to look giant, I mean their not born massive so when would a giant get to be full size? My bun Bumble is suposibly a mini yet he is more like a dwarf but he is growing so much I thought he might have a bit of giant in him?

A mini lop and French Lop (assuming this is the breed you mean) look very different right from birth.

A Frenchy will have a larger and chunkier build, different head shape and longer ears than a mini. He'll also be very much heavier - about 2kg+ and rapidly increasing at 10 weeks which would be close to fully grown for a mini.

A mini lop should be 1.5 - 1.6kg, dwarf lop 1.9 - 2.3kg and a Frenchy - at least 4.35kg. IMO this would be a very small Frenchy; ours average 6.5kg.
