It was pandemonium this morning with the get up and get out rush.
I was upstairs getting ready when I heard Hubby shout at Reggie. "Get outta the way Reg" it was tone and volume that shocked me. I promptly called down, don't shout at Reggie, he replied, I'm being careful of Reggie... I come down the stairs almost in tears. No, I said, don't shout at him. It's not his fault we up this morning, he won't understand why you're yelling at him... Hubby mutters something about not yelling, but I swear he did. I heard him from upstairs.
(Reggie didn't seem bothered, he still binkied when I went in to see him)
I went to work in an awful state, (not just this incident, general tired/stress)...
When hubby got in, I tried explaining about this morning and that he shouldn't have yelled at him. I also said it upset me. Hubby is adamant that he wasn't that loud, but apologised anyway.
It was tense and stressful this morning; and house bunnies do get under the feet from time to time...
But it was uncalled for.
I was worried for Reggie. I don't think bunnies link experiences and human reaction? i.e. They won't understand why a hoomin is cross? :?:
Did I overreact?
*just to cover - hubby would never hurt a bunny! and I've never heard him shout at any animal before.
