Our Chinchilla
Me mam said, next time we ave a kid
Am choosint name for it
Wiv got a martin and a clive and paul
Got lucy and we got claire an all
All borin names, next one’s a killer
That’s ow we got Our Chinchilla
Our Chinchilla her hair’s right shiny
An she fast on her feet, wriggly and climb-y
Nice enough if you don’t mind chavvy
Or if she’s havin’ a bath when you want lavvy
Don’t call her name though or she’ll hit you right hard
She’s six but she knocked our dad ‘cross yard
That’s what you get from Our Chinchilla
Chinchilla me mam says, it’s a beautiful name
Like wearing a fur coat and not on the game
Chinchilla, its poetry, long, warm and cute
Beady black eyes and well brushed suit
But were you to ask, and a wouldn’t, me sister,
She’d punch yer lights out be ye mrs or mr
You’d better watch out for our Chinchilla

Whenever I see a pic of a Chin, I'm always amazed at how big they are! I always thought they were tiny things :lol:
