All three bunnies off pellets?

Snowberry

Wise Old Thumper
Snowdrop has been poorly for a week, Mr B has refused pellets this weekend and Strawberry is still eating them but not with his usual gusto.

Its not a new batch of pellets so I don't understand it. Strawbs and Mr B don't appear ill, just not as interested in their pellets.

Gonna be an expensive vets visit tomorrow!

How strange, and a little worrying :( Hopefully it'll be nothing - perhaps it's just a delayed moult or something?

You say it's not a new batch, but has it been stored any differently? N&T are piggies so they've never actually gone off pellets, but it sometimes takes them 10 seconds to decide it's safe before eating pellets that I've been storing in a brand new plastic box or something. I think the scent must've leaked into the pellets. Worth a mention, just in case

Hope the vets goes well tomorrow

Nope same tub as always, good thought though!

For Mr B it is almost definitely his moult. He has given in and eaten them now he knows nothing else is on offer but wasn't keen at all.

I don't think there is a link- just worrying that all 3 are behaving differently.

How strange. :? They are single bunnies, if I remember rightly, so unlikely to be affected by each other's eating? Good luck for the vet trip.

Awh bum, shame it isn't something simple :( Yeah it is worrying and pretty strange! Fingers crossed for tomorrow, hopefully since it's all 3 it'll be something simple :(

how long have the pellets been stored ? wondering if older pellets may be on the bottom of how stored :? hope your buns improve

Yep all three are single.

Pellets are stored in a tub which get empty before we refil so it won't be old ones in the bottom.

The other two decided they would eat them after all and so I only took Snowdrop to the vet. Glad I didn't take the others as he was useless!

2/3 bunnies back munching away tonight!

Glad two fluffers are feeling better, maybe they knew a vets visit was on the cards! I hate rubbish vets - I just refuse to take them to anyone but a specialist now but it's not always possible is it :( Hope Snowdrop improves soon or you're able to get hold of a better vet :(
