Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Hi, I have a male rabbit 14wks old he had his vacs about two weeks ago and I have noticed that his eyes have been wet twice and it sticks his fur together around his eye. I also have a female rabbit also 14 weeks old and she had her vacs the same time and iv just noticed that one of her eyes look sticky! do you think this is just side affects from there vacs? or maybe a change in the weather?as it is really cold now.. thanks for reading

Are the eyes red or swollen? It could be conjunctivitis if they are red and sticky looking. If not and it isn't there all the time could it be from a draught getting into the hutch? Either way I would get a vet appointment as it's something you need to have checked out :)

loulabel, I would get your bunnies to be checked out by a vet asap......just in case. Best to be on the safe side.

I hope they are okay. Best of luck bunnies. x

I would agree that the vet needs to have a look. Hopefully it will just be conjunctivitus which drops should sort out.
