Can rabbits eat strawberry leaves? I have an alpine strawberry plant in the garden and I think they might like it.

Yes! Mine love them, as with any new food try and little at first to check they can tolerate it ok

Rabbits can eat any part of the strawberry plant; leaves, stalks and of course the fruit. Introduce slowly as you would with any other new food though

Spenser used to enjoy strawberry leaves. I only stopped giving them as I felt our plants didn't look too good this year. We're getting new ones for next season. I think I remember reading strawberry leaves are suppsoed to be good for bunny teeth.

Mine love them, but are not too fussed about the fruit. It works out well that way

I did try to grow strawberries along with the existing blackberries I had but I don't have any since those pesky rabbits found the plot :lol:

Didn't get any blackberries at all this year and can't find the strawberries :shock:

Flymo decimated an entire bucket of strawberry plants this year down to the roots, so I would say yes :lol:
