50's life with Horace the hare ....

Thank you so much for posting this amazing story.
I love all the photos, but especially the one of Horace waiting to go inside, No.2.

I read it years ago when writing a book on animals in the garden - I couldnt include Horace sadly because he was in the house not the garden!

I wish our hare was as tame - she is happy to run around and bounce on our bed but will not take food from our hands or play with us like that. We didnt realise she was going to stay with us so tried to be hands off as we were raising her -
