  • Please Note - Medical Advice

Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

She seems so bright

Ginger has stabilised at 0.9Kg's, I can't get her to put any more on but we can keep it there.

For a bunny we have been told and are aware is living on borrowed time, she's so bright. She's currently sat on my desk trying to drink my cold coffee and get to where I keep the porridge oats and eat the metacam box and is now digging at my pc mouse.

She eats everything in sight, falls over when trying to periscope, but still tries! She gets on top of things she shouldn't do, can jump from the floor to my lap to my desk but falls over sometimes.

This was her a short while ago;

Nosey as ever, trying to scrabble everywhere, rushing around at the idea of food!

I loves my Ginger bunny

Ginger is so beautiful  what a strong soul she is!
Please give her a snuggle from me. xxxx

She's got such a pretty face, obviously looks content despite everything going on with her. She's made of tough stuff I think

You've done wonders for her Gray, & against all odds.
I'm delighted she's doing so well. :D
You're both an inspiration to us all.

Ah i loved ginger from the moment you answered one of my first posts.

Its shows what a lot of love and care can do.

I didn't realise she was so small. Wish you had entered them into the calendar so i could look at them constantly.
