She (well, we're saying she but with how bright she is, she may well be a he :lol: ) is settling in well. She allows me to have my hands in the cage door now. I wasn't going to take many photos of her, just see how she was with the camera but she didn't react to it at all, in fact she got closer :lol: so she's obviously used to cameras.

This one is my favourite :D

Ooooohhhhh! :love: She is beautiful! What's her name? (Or are you waiting to check gender first?) :D
I am not a big bird person normally...I had two parakeets that my folks got rid of while I was on vacation when I was a kid which kind of put me off ever having them again, like the three bunnies we had too. I've always loved wild birds but have wanted a domesticated mourning dove for years...no chance with all my cats. :(

My birth mom has a parakeet that she calls Mr. Peepers who I will probably be caring for in the event of her becoming infirm. :roll:

She's called Barley. She was called Charly on arrival but I have a bunny called Charlie... So my mam picked Barley because it works on either gender anyway.

I love birds, but I was never going to get more because my cockatiel is such hard work! :lol:
