URGENT: transport aberdeen to edinburgh

Hi guys
Buddies have been contacted by someone in aberdeen who found two rabbits dumped in thier cage. The person who found them cant keep them temp as she has dogs so I offered to take them for the now.
Buddies is willing to take them,so if there is anyone traveling from aberdeen to edinburgh, or even just going half way down and would be able to take them please let me know.

Oh, we got called and offered to take them, but better if they are going to a specific rabbit rescue that rehomes.

Im off work on the week of the 11th and will be going to Edinburgh one day. Is that too late?

Would someone be able to drop them off in portlethen on the morning of the 13th? Save me being stuck in morning traffic in the opposite direction then back?
Or would it be easier if I picked them up on the tuesday night?
Do they have a carrier/s to travel in if not I have an old "cage" that could be used
