That look's like a dried earth worm to me, maybe if they have been outside it got brought in on their fur.

It's definitely snail/slug poo.
Tbh, it's nearly impossible to keep them out, but if you scatter feed then they won't have anything to eat and so they will hopefully stop visiting. :thumb:
