When we go to visit the parents it would be tricky to take the detolf with us so I ordered Shelby a new home to leave in Inverness. Both OH and my folks are up here so it means we can bring her and just move the cage between our folks' houses. It isn't great but it is only for holidays.

She was not impressed at having a smaller sand bath than usual and has dug all the sand out of it.

Aww, it's probably as big or bigger than a lot of hammys have to live in permanently, so I'm sure she'll cope with it as a crash pad for the holidays

Well her first night was a success, she spent it making the cage her own and has a beautiful corner of a cosy bed made.
