Darcy is free from the cone of shame

Finally!! after over a month of wearing one! she was spayed, so had a cone, had her stitches out then 3 days later a huge angry lump appeared so more surgery and the return of the cone, and shes just had it off today, and shes not stopped purring since

Aww. So glad she is free. Many Tears Animal Rescue (where we got our collie) use soft fabric doughnut style collars because the animals find them less stressful. May be worth looking in to IF ever needed.
