Greensands or Willows?

Tidgy

Warren Scout
Hi,

My rabbits are due their vaccinations again in November and I'd like to take them to a Rabbit savvy vet in my area rather that just my nearest vet which i used last year. I'd like my rabbits to have a good health check by someone that knows more about buns so i asked the RWAF to send me a list of Rabbit savvy vets in Buckinghamshire.

There are two fairly close, Greensands http://www.gsvet.co.uk/ which is 10 minutes drive and Willows http://www.willowvet.co.uk/ which is 20 minutes drive.

I can't decide which one to approach! Does anyone have experience of either?

Does it matter how far i travel?...am worried about stressing the buns.

Hi, I'm afraid I don't know the bunny savvy vets in Bucks as I travel to Northampton for mine, but just bumping this up for you as there will no doubt be someone who can help you.

Well this decision had to made yesterday. I rushed Peanut to the vet nearest me that was on the RWAF list. It's only a small practice like my local vet, but the nurse and vet were both really kind and helpful. I've obviously registered Peanut there now. No idea if i should inform my original vet that i am transferring to the new one. Anyone know?

I hope this doesn't affect any claims i am able to make at Petplan too. So worried for Peanut at the moment, but worried about getting the right care is also a major thing for me, so hard to know. :(

Sorry to hear you had an emergency vet visit. Hope everything's OK? I use the Cat and Rabbit Care Clinic in Duston, Northampton. It's a half hour drive away but so worth it as Simon and Kim are amazing bunny and piggy vets.
