Jane, I was thinking about you and your bear collection this morning!

I have my mother's old teddy bear who I played with constantly when I was a child and he has sat on my bed ever since I got married, wearing knitted clothes depending on what colour bedding I have!

Well, on tidying and having a sort out of our bedroom this morning, I finally decided that poor old ted really does need to retire, he's falling to bits and I think he's beyond repair. I have such an attachment to him but I think he needs to be put somewhere safe now to rest! He's a very much loved bear but he's ready to take it easy now I think.
