Vibes for poor Molly

Have not posted for a while as I have been working away
in Europe for 5 weeks.Missed Molly and Smokey but family
gave them plenty of hugs and cuddles.
A week before I came home Molly developed a huge abscess
on her face.She was taken to the vet.
The vet phoned me and said the best course of action was to operate.
Molly had the operation and stayed in the vet hospital along with partner
Smokey.I returned Saturday and went to collect them.
She has lost weight and the vet said it is not near her teeth but jaw bone.
She said she dug out as far as she could

She came home and has been a bit lethargic but eating well .
She has been free ranging as well and has improved.
Took her back today to have stitches out .Vet fairly pleased but
thinks an injection everyday for next 7 days may help
Also not putting on much weight.
All I can do is take her expert advice.
But deep down have a feeling all is not well and the abscess could return .
Trying to be positive.
Thanks for listening to me rambling on.

Poor Molly has been to the vet nearly everyday for the last month.
My vet is the wonderful Judith Brown who just loves rabbits. and she is doing everything to get Molly better.
Yesterday she had to operate again as the abscess had started to reappear.
Molly stayed in over night .Have collected her today she is ok.
Judith is hoping this time she has gone a bit deeper,so fingers crossed again.
So we are going to go back nearly everyday as she cleans it and injects maluka honey into the wound.
We love Molly so much and are hoping she makes a full recovery.:wave:

I hope Molly is 100% very soon. She is very lucky having such a caring and loving Mum..............and also and excellent vet.
