Do you give your buns multi vitamins?

Just buying some of the Papaya tablets for the Tripster and saw oxbow have multi vits now too, just wondering how many people use them really. I'm guessing it's like with people and if they are eating a correct diet they shouldn't need them right?

Also if anyone does feed these do the bunnies actually like them?

As Sheldon (Big Bang Theory) says "What you're buying here are the ingredients for very expensive urine."

I don't give my two any kind of supplements or vitamins and would only do so if my vet recommended it based on them showing they were deficient in something.

I've never bothered with rabbits, my rodents used to have mineral blocks and stuff like that and there's been absolutely no difference in their general health or lifespan since I stopped.

The only thing my specialist has ever recommended to me since Doughnut has been sick for so long is echinecea and lemisole. He put her on it for about 6 weeks to boost the immune system, other than that she hasn't had anything else. The odd probiotic when she's been on antibiotics.

Like you say if they are eating a healthy diet and are well then they should be getting everything they need from their food.

Dry food is already 'fortified' with vitamins/minerals. The only time I'd considering feeding them is if a rabbit is on a very limited diet (i.e. no pellets/not a big range of fresh foods) as then they might be missing out. You shouldn't need them routinely though.
