How to keep bunnies in best of health?

Hi everyone,

Last night I collected two adorable little fluff balls - Badger & Blueberry. 8 week old blue eyed white mini lion lops and I'm already head over heels in love with them.

I was just wondering if anybody knew if there was a minimum age for bunnies to have their vaccinations? Like 6 months for neutering/spaying & being fed vegetables.

I'm also wondering if there are any tips to preventing nasty illnesses, specifically the dreaded E Cuniculi. I ask because I'm terrified of history repeating itself like with Dexter. These buns have come from a very well looked after bunny home, I've seen the parents and they're all very clean and healthy and well looked after so I know I am being paranoid, but after Dexter, I couldn't bear to go through it again. I've successfully kept bunnies before, and have a healthy two year old dwarf lol named Slipper, so I can't be doing too bad a job, but I obviously want to do the best I possibly can for my buns. Any hints and/or tips would be great fully appreciated :D

My two had their combined vaccs at 10 weeks. They were absolutely fine, didn't flinch at all and there were no side effects. I'd just ring up your vet and book them in tbh! :)

I think the minimum age for vaccinations is 5 weeks, so they can go anytime! Looking forward to photos of your new additions :)

keep stress as low as possible. let them have their carrier as a den so they are used to going in and out and won't be stressed when transported.
