I have to say, I'd avoid watercress. I recall trying it with poor results. That said, it's trial and error for you bun.

No, parsley is quite high in calcium too it's such a shame, it's all the things Olly likes the most!
Thought so what herbs/veg is your bun having
I am having huge problems with bladder sludge with one of my buns at the minute. I went to a rabbit specialist vet today and he advised I change her diet to no pellets, lots of hay and grass and lettuce leaves as the only fresh food. He did say if she was struggling with no pellets I could try oxbow pellets. Have started the new diet regime tonight and really hoping it will work!
It's so confusing isn't it when all you want to do is the best for them thinking of taking the pellets away too but I have 3 more buns that love their pellets:?
Well keep us updated on her progress:thumb:It is really confusing. I've been struggling with her like this since January and all the vets visits and medication are taking its toll on her now
Just really hoping getting rid of the pellets will make a difference cos I know she will really miss having them
Well keep us updated on her progress:thumb:
I used Vaseline to stop the urine sticking to her seem to really help,Good news about her kkdneysHad some good news today - the blood tests show that her kidneys are functioning normally so it is almost certainly a diet issue. She has managed her first day with no pellets and is showing no withdrawal symptoms!!! Have also started treating her urine scald with sudocrem as the vet advised so hoping to see an improvement with that soon!
There not a natural diet for a rabbit but convenient for us,if you are concerned about bun always take to vets for a check up:thumb:Are pellets bad? Bo has been on a pellet kick recently and I have been noticing a lot more "heavy" urine. Should I take her to the vet?
