Why on earth would you deserve it?

I honestly believe these bunnies were sent to you specifically because despite every difficulty you have in your own life you fight and advocate for these bunnies and give them the best possible care.

I'm so sorry you are going through this and really wish I could help. ((HUGS))

I'd like to echo Amy104.

You don't deserve this, you are a good person. Time and time again, even when you are grieving and at your lowest, you make time to help others, to offer sympathy in Rainbow Bridge. The ability you have to see beyond your own circumstances and help other bunny owners just shows what an amazing, selfless person you are.

I would like to send millions of vibes to Lady Lydia, and hugs to you.

Can only echo what others say - NO, you do not deserve this!

I am so sorry about Lady Lydia - just so terribly sad.

I'm so sorry to hear this Jane - of course you don't deserve it. I just can't belive you're continuing to have such a bad year.

I'm so sorry that you are having such a terrible time :( of course you don't deserve it.

Losing so many animals so close to each other must be really devastating. Just try your best to appreciate the time you and Lady Lydia have left *hug* You are a wonderful person to have taken the bunnies in the first place, and they all have the most wonderful lives with you. Try to remember that when you are feeling down. x

I'm really really sorry for both of you.

Sometimes its 'nice' to think we deserve something because it means there could have been another outcome- it makes us feel we have some control.

Neither you, nor Lady Lydia, deserve all this devastation around you.

Ill be thinking of you both :)

There aren't really any words other than to say how sorry I am to hear this. Thinking of you both.

Oh no, poor Lydia and poor you. I am so very sad to read this. May I ask how you found it and could it explain why her paws and hocks were so horrendous lately because her defences were down. I am devastated.:cry:

She has started to exhibit the same symptoms we saw in Eddie, Danny and Murphy. All whom were lost to a Thymoma  At first it is that the eyes bulge when the Rabbit is put under any stress and sometimes as they have their head lowered whilst they eat. As the tumour grows they can develop respiratory issues such as increased respiratory effort. Their heart sounds can become muffled too. The only 'good' thing is that the Rabbit usually remains feeling OK within themselves right to the very end. At the end stages fur loss can also occur. Only Eddie had this symptom.

The only way to confirm the diagnosis would be a chest/head Xray. But given that I would not be putting Lydia through surgical intervention (high risk and exceptionally complex- a specialist case without a doubt) I am not prepared to put her under GA just to get the Xrays. It would not be of any benefit as far as treatment goes so not worth the risk of a GA.

I'm so sorry Jane. You really are impeccably strong, whether you believe it or not, and in no way can you deserve this. Anyone would struggle to cope with the year you have had, I don't know where I'd be if it were me.

Best wishes for you and Lady Lydia xxx
