I don't know if this was mentioned but BBC has a series and looks at how rabbits act in the wild. I thought it was good that they used rabbits from rescues and built a burrow for them to see how they would live, but am confused if they are all neutered or not? As it mentions the dominant female and male having a litter. If they aren't neutered then isn't that very irresponsible of the rescue? What's going to happen to these rabbits that are not even wild after filming? Would this send a message to people that it's ok to release their pets because they will survive? I'd have thought they would've relocated some wild rabbits or got some wild stock from somewhere?
I haven't watched the series on iplayer yet http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b038lx3c/The_Burrowers_Animals_Underground_Episode_1/
