Long Overdue Pictures of the Buns.

I noticed it has been ages since I last had a photo thread on the bunnies - You probably had all forgot what they look like :lol:

The photos are a mixture, some taken on my bridge camera and others on a Sony DSLR but either way they should be fairly good quality.

Funny enough I can't keep him away - he loves the bunnies and is very knowledgeable on their welfare after my rambling :lol:

He is 19 so It's great he pays an interest.

Thanks for asking Amanda, I am doing well at the moment I am enjoying spending time with the bunnies - It is very comforting and helps me to try and not think of my GCSE results coming up on the 23rd of August :shock: .

Okay, I am declaring myself president of the Official Pickle Fan Club! He is just TOO CUTE!
They all look fantastic, Jack... My daughter actually ooed and aahed over Flopsy, she loves his little white dot on his nose. And she finds Lily extremely tempting to snuggle.
Pixie's moult lines are beautiful. (Those are moult lines, right? I'm going to feel really stupid if they aren't.)

Yay I'm glad you're a Pickle fan , he certainly takes pride in his handsomeness so he'll be very pleased to have a fan group of admirers! :lol:

I love little Flopsy's white nose too , it really defines him and makes him look even cuter. Not that I'm biased or anything but I just love my bunnies

Yes you were right ,It's Pixie's crazy moult! I can't actually believe how much she's changed colour since we first adopted her. I just love the transitions in moult though.

My brother is 18 and I'm lucky if he even acknowledges the rabbits are there.. :lol: he will feed them dandelion leaves and grass sometimes though!

Very best of luck with your results. Three weeks to go. Glad the bunnies are helping you not having to think about it.

Aaaw - the one of Pickle with those two paws on the plant pot - soooooo gorgeous.

Can't wait to meet them. We did have a cooler day here in the week but today it is back to being humid again. I am also working six or seven days a week at the moment - and on-call nights too - as someone has gone sick at one of my jobs and I need to reduce my overdraft as the bank charges are ridiculous.

Thursday 5 September looks a good day for the bunnies to arrive. I will be sleeping in the morning but then have Thurs afternoon, Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues afternoon and Wed afternoon, Thurs, Fri and Sat when I am not working at all at either job. That should be plenty of time to bond. It should be cooler then too.

You may well be back at college by then though

They're all beautiful and look like they have such a lovely home.

Thanks Karen , According to the college website first years start the 10th September. Obviously I'll only be going if I get the grades , if not I plan to retake year 11 so I really don't know what's happening in September unfortunately yet.

I'm sure the 5th September would be OK , but we'd have to come in the afternoon/evening as my parents both work. But I'm sure we can try and sort something out. My brother is off uni until October so he can check on the rabbits while I'm at College and he can keep a close eye ounce they return from bonding.

The one thing that does worry me , is if it doesn't work and they don't bond. Lily has showed referred aggression to Flopsy when Pickle and Pixie were free ranging beside their run however they did nozzle noses and I guess the signs were normal and OK.

The other thing is Flopsy's diet, because of his Dental disease he can't eat the hay the others are able to so he has to have pellets fed separately to him twice a day. However he does eat green oat hay occasionally so at the moment him and Lily have a pile of that available as well as their other hay in the hay racks and litter trays. The problem is that Pickle and Pixie scoff down the green oat hay in minutes so I don't know how I'd offer it to Flopsy.

I'm hoping when he sees the other three eating lots of hay he'll follow - one can hope.

I'm sure we can confirm something though , I'd love a quad but it will just mean Flopsy will need extra feeding on his own etc but the bonus will be lots more space and enrichment
