2 neautered male brothers fighting - help!

I have 2 male rabbits who were together when I brought them home. They are brothers and are neutered but afterwards they started fighting badly. I separated them but I'm worried that they are now not getting the social interactivity that rabbits require. Is there anyway I can bond them again? I have some cages which I put next to each other so they can sniff each other through the bars. I have tried taking them to new places so they can bond again but they started fighting again. Should I accept that this is just a hopeless case?

How old are they and how long have they been neutered?

They're both about 2 now and have been neutered about 6 months.

I'd keep them as far apart as possible for at least a month so they completely forget each other and then maybe try again. It might be easier in the autumn/winter when they aren't quite so active and their hormones lessen.
