Frozen wet towels for the bunnies

Who was it who said they did it? I tried it today for my buns and they were on them within minutes :thumb:. Thank you sooooo much for the suggestion. I now have a freezer full of frozen towels :lol: and the OH is under strict instructions to change them every few hours whilst I'm at work. It's been unbearably hot today and I could cry for my poor bunnies .

What a fab idea! :thumb: I've been trying all sorts to cool my poor buns down in this heat.

I put a load of old dog towels in the washing machine on a rinse only cycle so that they came out nice and damp but not sopping wet. Then I folded them and laid them in my chest freezer until nicely frozen :thumb:. Even once they're defrosted, they stay damp for quite some time so are still cooling for the bunnies. 10 year old Flora was straight on one when I put it in her shed.
