I went to a farm sanctuary's festival this weekend! Here are my photos from it :wave:

They're gorgeous :love: They have four rabbits (including Binky and Bella) in an outdoor pen, there are two pairs, but all of them get along. Then they have one single eight year old bunny who is blind in one eye and she didn't like the other bunnies. She's the only one we could bond Joshua to as I don't want to split a bonded pair, but since she is elderly and didn't like the other bunnies it may not be a good match :?

She was the brown one right? I saw her having a whale of a free time every day, running in the grounds/fields - amazing they always managed to get her and bring her inside every night.

A very uplifting experience :)

I actually didn't get to see her, the sanctuary was packed, so I think they had had her in one of their buildings. We're going back for a tour, hopefully in August so then we hope to see her.

Two of the other bunnies were completely squished together in their hutch despite the weather, they were adorable :love:
 
That bottom photo is beautiful broiler hens :love: we rescue them every now & then, I lost my last three earlier in the year, i'll get some more next spring- I love them dearly. xx

Some of the broiler hens had bandaged feet because they get so obese from the chicken feed that the factory farmers give them and there's constant pressure on their feet :( They have a few of the chickens on their site: http://www.woodstocksanctuary.org/meet-the-animals/chickens/

Your so right, they get bumble Foot & really twisted toes, but they are so so loving.

That's what it's called!

One of the turkeys escaped from the barn and ran up to our table while we were eating, apparently she likes to try to steal food :lol: Some of the chickens were just hanging out too, following people all over.
