I am sure many of you will remember Parsley who passed away in January.
We have had this memorial stone carved by a wonderful stone workshop in Cambridge (Cardozo Kindersley workshops) who specialise in lettering etc.
It is of Portland stone and will sit in a new wild meadow area we have created where I will put wild flowers in the grass. There are quince and apple trees and wild roses
The grass got a bit trampled whilst putting the stone in so it doesnt look great at present.
We will bury Parsley here in a 'coffin' our carpenter neighbour made.
'To Lay me Down' is a refrain from a song from our favourite band that means a lot to us. Steve chose it.
PS I can email piccies to anyone that can put them on at a better size for me - I really can never find out what the issue is with my images!!!!
