Gaia is a blue grey Continental giant doe.
She and her son and his father came to HH in December 2008 via another rescue that wanted to help them but did not have the space for them. She was born in June 2007.
She has poor teeth and chronic tear duct infections.
She and her son Mercury live one of the stables as they both have trouble with their feet and need to be maintained on deep, soft bedding.
She is currently suffering from a pressure sore on her foot due to her changing the way she uses her foot because of constant on-going hock problems.
She is nearly always to be found lying on top of Mercury either to prevent him from getting up to mischief or because he makes a wonderful cushion, or both.
She is HH's largest rabbit.
