Why has "Can you spell?:R" appeared in my profile (and others from what I can see)?

It's just to try and stop spammers, when you edit it now you have to prove you're human rather than a bot or anything as far as I know.

It was put in place for new members signing up (and has helped significantly with the spambots) but, as Steph said, it also asks existing members to answer the question when they next try to edit their profile.
