This is a different feature today, as its in memory of Plum who wasn't due to be featured for another few weeks, but who sadly lost his battle yesterday.
Plum Pudding was a dark eyed mostly white buck with some dark markings.
He was bonded to a doe that HH had rehomed to live with him, Tia, but when she died he came to HH for his retirement.
He was born in 2005. He had abcesses on both ears and was rather stiff and had difficulty keeping himself clean. He was a darling rabbit and even liked being picked up and snuggled!
He even managed to tame Sage who had rejected partner after partner until he came along. Now she was very content living with him, but she recently passed away and he then lived with Foxglove, Cinammon and Sweetie, but sadly he recently developed head tilt and had a paralysed face from the infection in his ears. He more recently developed a tumour on his shoulder, but he wasn't fit enough to withstand surgery, so he was kept happy and pain free as long as possible.
Sadly, yesterday it all became too much for him to cope with and it was time for him to go
Sweetie accompanied her friend for his final journey, and their last moments together were so touching. Binky free, Plum xxxxxx
