At least I think that's what they are. He'll be lying down, apparently asleep, when he suddenly starts squealing. I get on the floor and talk to him and he seems to snap out of it ok. But he has them quite often, poor darling. Those of you who share a room with your house rabbits - do they have nightmares? If so how old are they? Are they generally healthy?

Poor Pickles, I've never heard of that before. His look alike Orla is my housebunny and when she sleeps she twitches and nods sometimes as though dreaming but she never seems unhappy or in pain. Could it be Pickles is in pain when in his sleeping position?

I've never heard of this before either, never noticed my buns making any sound when they lived indoors either.

Poor Pickles :( I hope you manage to work out why its happening xx

Perhaps take Pickles to the vet, just to rule out anything physical. They might be able to refer you to a behavioural specialist?
