Breeds?

The US use different terms for the lop rabbits to the UK and it gets a little confusing :oops:but a holland lop is smaller than a dwarf. :D

The Holland Lop is the US equivalent of a UK mini lop - they're the smallest lops and weigh around 1.6kg. Dwarf lop is a UK term (they're known as mini lops in the US - told you it was confusing :lol:) and they're slightly bigger at around 2.5kg-ish.

 this

The US Holland Lop is the smallest lop breed in America and the same size as our mini's. If anyone in the UK is advertising them be dubious (there's no such thing as a holland lop in the UK), if a breeder doesn't even know the basics of the types of rabbits they're breeding they probably don't know much else

In the UK the smallest are mini lops (And mini cashmeres/mini lionlops), then there's dwarf lops which aren't actually dwarfs at all, then you've got german lops and english lops and french lops

2kg and 3.8kg dwarf lops :p

N'awwwwww. Like my 2.74kg 'dwarf' lop... Little Fattie :love:
