Sapphire is a beautiful speckled dwarf lop doe.
She first came to HH in January 2007 with her mother and the rest of her litter when she was six weeks old. She and her sister Amethyst were rehomed, but sadly Amethyst had to be put to sleep for a tumour on her liver
Sapphire then took Severn home with her. Unfortunately both rabbits became prone to bouts of digestive stasis needing frequent emergency trips to the vets. In early 2011, with a young child to care for as well, their owners could no longer manage the stress associated with this and returned them to us, although they continue to care for them financially through our sponsorship scheme
