hay ? (jacks-jane may know?)

is it ok for a rabbit with kidney disease to have the excel dandelion and marigold herbage? only asking as with my rabbits being on healthy pet club they get a free bag of hay or food a month and as they arent fed burgess food gone for hay, they had 2 types this one and barn dried hay, so vet nurse gave us one of each e one per rabbit

just want to make sure its ok for sox to eat, know dandelions are good for urinary tract

and what is barn dried exactly as ive only ever fed meadow hay and timothy x

No idea but aren't prettylupin and thumps also good with forage? Or parsnipbun?

barn dried means it has been dried inside a barn, simples :thumb: normal hay is left to dry in the fields I think.

I would think the hay would be ok for Sox, maybe mix it in with his normal hay?

Alfalfa hay is the one to avoid with kidney issues

thanks everyone and bunnymad lisa, i never liked alfalfa for them anyway so they have never had anything with that in :wave:
