Ive just bought a massive second hand hutch off someone local :lol: ive been to look at it tonight, its quite weathered and wonderes if i should varnish it first before i transfer my rabbits across?

How massive is massive? It needs to be at least 6 x 2 x 2 foot.
If it's weathered it would certainly need painting in garden paint. Also, you'll need to thoroughly disinfect it with pet safe disinfectant and plenty of boiling water. Then vinegar it to remove any smells of previous occupants, then I'd be tempted to clean it a few more times.

Its a 6ft hutch massive to me. Thanks for advice, she had piggies in it. Will clean it well, and put vinal down in it.
