Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

anyone else get this? Maisy, my mummy bunny, has always done this thing where she sneezes maybe 10-15 times in a row. Now a couple of the babies hav started having sneezing fits too. wondering if its genetic or environmental..?
they live indoors so i only notice them doing it wen theyre in the living room so it shudnt be the hay, i dunno. any ideas?

Bramble has been sneezing a bit lately, which I thought was strange. Then my boss said that she had to take her daughter to the vets because her asthma was bad, and they told her the pollen count was high. I was wondering if it might be that.

Is it only the one room they do it in? Do you have any air freshners in there?

Do they have any discharge (Check the inside of the front legs as that will be where they wipe it).

I would think it is environmental and if it has caused Pasteurella maybe the babies have caught it. Not sure though.

My indoor bun had sneezing so I took him to the vets and he was put on septrim and it cleared up. I would take them to the vets before it gets worse as it could become a respiratory infection. I also vacuumed everything, in every little corner, behind furniture, on the tops of the wardrobe, under the wardrobe, the back of the dressing table. I am sure dust is a huge irritant.

well my flat is a tiny one-bedroomer so i only ever see them sneeze in the living room, doesnt mean they dont in their room too tho. no air fresheners, just those dehumidifier things cos our flat is pretty damp, cud that hav sumthing to do with it? i think a trip to the vets is unavoidable, planning to get my mummy bunny neutered soon anyway so mite bring it up while im there. thanks everyone xx
