Vet just rang. Honey is worse ie. Not eating now and sitting in corner depressed. She spoke to Aiden at Ashleigh who doesn't think furballs exist in rabbits  and that he wouldn't consider operating. Sophie thinks i should get her transferred there but i don't think they even have 24 hour care and they'd ship her somewhere else overnight and take her back in the morning  every journey makes her worse  i now think i should never have had her admitted to bury, it just terrified her and the stress stopped her getting better  she always has problems with fur, usually she is like this for up to 12 hours then does a huge furry poop:cry: after having the meds, and she's fine again. I know her. I don't know what to do. Please help me

Have you advised them on what you think is best? I am sure you have. I have had similar experiences - you know your rabbit better than anybody, remember that.

Hope she gets well soon.

Furballs are not actually a primary gut problem in Rabbits. It is slow gut motility that then makes the 'normal' finding of fur within the GI tract a problem.

That aside, I think diagnostics such as a full blood profile are what I would ask for, at the Vet Honey is currently with. I think all the tooing and froing is just exacerbating her problems now.

Things I would want the Vet to look at in particular are Liver and Kidney function.

Lots of vibes for you. Have you got any really good rabbit specialists in your area which has all the facilities and she won't have to keep being moved. Like you say it's awfully stressful for her and want everything kept to the minimum but to get it sorted.

Thank you everyone, Jane i have asked for blood tests this afternoon. I guess i have to wait and see. This is killing me, she can't die, she's only 2, she's my baby girl

Please try and stay positive. I hope you get some answers then at least you know what you are dealing with.

Aw - poor Honey - and poor you! It's such an awful time for you both right now. So hope they find out what is wrong with her and she recovers very quickly.

Lots of hugs to you and vibes for her.
