Dig Box with Shredded Paper

Hiya,

I was just wondering what ya'll thought of a dig type box with shredded paper? Provided the buns don't eat it (and it'll be a 'sometimes' enrichment toy, not something in their space all the time) is there a problem with using shredded paper? I basically got a low-ish box, cut a door each on two sides and a hole they can fit through in the top, then shoved a bunch of shredded paper in and they seem quite keen on rooting about in it (although obviously Peabody is now COVERED in paper). I just wanted to check if anyone knows any reasons I shouldn't do this!

But if your buns enjoy it, then I think it is fine!

Just make sure they arent very long strips that could get wrapped around legs
